Chef Petros Dimas of Michelin-Starred Makris Athens Comes to Carousel London

This September, Carousel London welcomes Petros Dimas, the visionary chef-patron of Makris Athens by Domes, to its celebrated guest chef series. Awarded its first Michelin star in December 2024, just a few months after opening, Makris has rapidly emerged as a standout in contemporary Greek gastronomy.

From 2-6 September, Petros brings the heart of Athens to London with a bespoke tactile tasting menu that captures his roots, seasonal precision, and dedication to hyper-local ingredients sourced from his family’s farm near Ancient Corinth.

Nestled in Thissio beneath the Acropolis and blending historic ambience with sleek design, Makris achieves culinary finesse through storytelling and striking flavour contrasts. Each course is a tribute to Greek terroir, elevated by techniques refined in world-class, renowned restaurants and mentors across the globe.
